I can’t seem to wrap my head around things today. My gut is a pit of snakes, and my anxiety is waking up. All this political bullshit that pollutes our country, makes ignorant the people, entirely insults and makes unimportant our constitution. How did this happen? What foreboding events are on our horizon? Scrolling through facebook and tumblr I wonder how so many people post political bullshit? When was the last time you read the Constitution? The Bill of Rights? The Declaration of Independence? Is the American Revolution so forgotten? Have we learned nothing? What is the Republic of Jefferson, Washington, Franklin, Adams, worth anymore? Do you read the words but not understand them? Are we the people not the embodiment of our historical governing documents? The people speak of Liberty though they do not have it, and protect false freedoms and call it being a Patriot. A Patriot is one who stands up for what is right, by the constitution, against all tyranny foreign and domestic, damn those who say they are wrong and unlawful.

Mordecai was injured when we found him. I should say; when my folk’s dachshunds cornered him in the yard. The dogs didn’t hurt the bird, he hadn’t been bit. If anything the dogs kept their distance, circling, barking. He had an old wound in a wing joint, which hadn’t healed correctly, and was infected. Full of pus. The ODNR, Ohio Department of Natural Resources has fantastic brilliant facilities, vet hospitals for wild animals. They said he was quite underweight, they did surgery on his wing, cleaned it out. They got him back up to weight, and had him in a rehabilitation center, to help him fly again. The wing may never heal right, so he wouldn’t be released back on the farm. He’ll be used in Ohio Department of Wildlife teachings, demonstrations, awareness lectures, school groups…etc.

The synopsis for the horror genre screenplay I wrote. Completed this year, going to be made into a film.

“Brilliantly disgusting, yet pleasantly creepy.”

Tabbott’s Traveling Carnival of Terrors has been taking its unique sights and frights to towns around the Appalachian country and surrounding regions since 1925. Taking over for his parents who founded the business; Colonel Everette Tabbott III and his wife Gladys Tabbott have been married for 25 years and have four children. Business is booming; Offering games, seasonal food, bonfires, festive costumes, sideshow acts, and old-world music, the carnival is fun for the whole family!

Having more trade skills than the average carney, the Tabbott family members work together to keep their well-oiled machine-of-deception running according to plan. Papa Tabbott; the ringmaster clown. Mama; the fat witch with the power behind the throne. Their children: Bobbie a seductively cunning fortune teller, Buck the temperamental werewolf, Eli; the silent but deadly Scarecrow, and Emma; the ghost ignored.

The Carnival’s main attraction is a House of Horrors, like never seen before; a slaughterhouse for those who visit, and leave nevermore. It is autumn, the Family’s favorite time of year; Costumes and creeping, and all sorts of things to fear. The moon is full, the carnival erected; For unsuspecting visitors, the night is not what they suspected.

A local girl Jess, reads the Tabbott’s hand painted wooden sign in town, and takes the bait. It‘s a full moon and she cannot stay away; her curiosity too much for her. She and her friend Sarah go to the carnival, ready for a night of fun and frights. As fate would have it; things are not always what they seem. And predator and prey can be difficult to distinguish.

This tragic autumn-time tale of the Tabbott family is fraught with murder, rape, cannibalism, incest, lies, foul language, kidnapping, theft, sexual perversion, and betrayal. And it may as well be their last.
